        (ii) data about the user, or the way a user interacts with the platforms or Services, which is collected by Corbeau Advisory Services electronically (in a combination, understood as the “User Information”).

        • the language choices made by users concerning their use of the Service, which may include information relating to their location when using the Service;
        • the details of any third-party digital property (such as a website) that referred or linked a user to the platforms, together with information about how a user interacted with any online and email marketing campaigns related to the Service;
        • information and communications on forums on the platforms, involving chat rooms and message boards;
        • information about how users react on our platforms (such as the type of content they view, how frequently, at what times, etc.).

        The ‘Site,’ corbeautech.com, is a website operated and owned by Corbeau. We are a company registered in the United States and have our office in Oklahoma. Content furnished on the website shall be the Intellectual Property owned by Corbeau unless the outsourcing agency or the relevant owner is mentioned on that particular written content.

        We may also collect personal information from a variety of third-party sources.  These include social networks (subject to the user’s privacy settings and the social network’s privacy policy), service providers which allow us to verify, enhance, or supplement the User Information collected on our platforms, and business partners to whom we are offering a service.

        PROCESS

        We log usage data when you visit our website or app, such as when you view or click on content or ads, perform a search, and install or update our mobile app. We use log-ins, cookies, device information and internet protocol (“IP”) addresses to identify you and log your use.         DEVICE AND LOCATION INFORMATION

        When you visit or leave a Corbeau website, we receive the URL of both the site you came from and the one you go to next. We also get information about your IP address, proxy server, operating system, web browser, add-ons, device identifier and features, and/or ISP or your mobile carrier. Using our website from a mobile device will send us data about your location based on your phone settings. We will ask you to opt in before we use GPS or other tools to identify your precise location.

        Corbeau recognizes and observes that your user information’s security is important to you.  When handling User Information, security is paramount, and we seek to ensure that User Information is safeguarded through appropriate technical and organizational measures.

        Corbeau uses reasonable or sufficient administrative, logical and physical controls, including password protection, to safeguard your User Information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or modification. Unfortunately, the diffusion of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your User Information per applicable law, we cannot guarantee the security of your User Information if it reaches a scope beyond our powers.

        The data obtained from the users shall not be transmitted to employees or third parties unless necessary or justifiable by reasonable objectives as per law. The encrypted shall be strictly protected if no consent is obtained from the Users.

        DATA STORAGE DURATION

        Corbeau keeps your data for only as long as required to provide you with the necessary services and to carry out the processing set out in this statement and line with its obligation under applicable law. This means that we will generally not keep your personal information for longer than six (6) years following your last interaction with us, and the retention period will often be shorter. For example, we may keep your information for marketing purposes for three (3) years following the termination or expiry of our relationship or your last contact.

        CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS

        Information we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate to enable Corbeau to use the information per this notice.

        The information you provide may be assigned to our commercial partners, suppliers, or agents outside your country. We will ensure adequate protection of personal data transferred outside your country as required under applicable laws. If you are located in the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK, we may enter into model clauses with the recipient to comply with GDPR.         In addition, personal information you submit for publication (comments, chats, or discussions) on our platforms will be published on the internet and may be available worldwide. We cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others.

        Corbeau reserves the right to amend, change or edit the practices of Corbeau in this GDPR Statement at any by posting an updated document. Please check here periodically. A notification or the pop-up of the Privacy Preferences shall be visible to the users if there are changes made after accepting or rejecting our data processing right. We may also send an email to the registered or subscribed users informing the same, and continued usage of the website shall be construed as an acknowledgment of the amended GDPR statement.
